Fred Stott passed away on March 20th 2000 aged 68 he died in his sleep peacefully.my father worked as a nightwatchman before he retired. For most of his life he worked in the cotton mill he lived in oldham all of his life and had 9 brothers and sisters he spent his national service in Egypt he was in the Lancashier Fusiliers . He married my mother and had two children me and my brother .My father was a kind Patient man he always had time for me and my brother taught us the Importance of education .He taught me how to play cricket we always felt loved as children and although there wasn’t a great deal of money to go around we never wanted for anything .As young adults he supported our choices and he was there when things went wrong .He said the greatest gift he had was being a father He changed his mind when I made him a grandfather he said being a grandfather to two beautiful granddaughters was a privilege. But Not Forgotten
I think no matter where you stray,
That I shall go with you a way.
Though you may wander sweeter lands,
You will not forget my hands,
Nor yet the way I held my head
Nor the tremulous things I said.
You will still see me, small and white
And smiling, in the secret night,
And feel my arms about you when
The day comes fluttering back again.
I think, no matter where you be,
You'll hold me in your memory
And keep my image there without me,
By telling later loves about me.
love you always grandad Rachael Hayley Lauren Lennon Ella xxxxx
MY HUSBAND
I thought of you with love today but that is nothing new
I thought about you yesterday and days before that too,
I think of you in silence I often speak your name
All I have are memories and your picture in a frame
Your memory is my keepsake with which I’ll never part
God has you in His keeping I have you in my heart.
all my love always Edith x

As we look back over time
we find ourselves wondering.....
Did we remember to thank you enough
for all you have done for us?
For all the times you were by our sides
to help and support us.....
To celebrate our successes
to understand our problems
and accept our defeats?
Or for teaching us by your example,
The value of hard work, good judgement,
Courage and integrity?
We wonder if we ever thanked you
For the sacrifices you made.
To let us have the very best?
And for the simple things
Like laughter, smiles and times we shared?
If we have forgotten to show our
Gratitude enough for all the things you did,
We're thanking you now.
And we are hoping you knew all along,
How much you meant to us.
love and miss you always
Nicky, Michelle Gareth Debbie

R.I.P
Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glint on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you wake in the morning hush,
I am the swift, uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circling flight.
I am the soft starlight at night.
Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there, I do not sleep.
(Do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there, I did not die
